Are you looking for a trip for your summer youth program? We are pleased to announce a limited number of Auerfarm summer field trips at no cost* thanks to a grant funded by the CT Department of Education.  Field trips are being offered from June 1st through August 25th, on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

Field trips at Auerfarm engage students in exploratory and sensory-based learning to provide an authentic farm-related experience. All Auerfarm education programs are linked to the CT Early Learning Development Standards (CT ELDS) and the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) and focus on agriculture, the environment, and health. Choose from the programs listed below.

*Your bus costs (up to $350) will be reimbursed. Invoice must be submitted within 2 weeks following the field trip. You must complete a demographic survey for each child participating. We cannot fund programs that do not fully complete the survey. You are allowed a chaperone for every 10 students (teachers/paras not included). Additional chaperones are $5/each. Minimum participation is 15, maximum is 100. It is your responsibility to arrive on time for the field trip. Field trip arrival is between 9:30 AM and 10 AM. Field trips end at noon.  Please plan accordingly and confirm your bus in advance. The “Maple Tree Tent” is available for your group for lunch.
