Auer Mission: To ensure children and adults engage in, learn about, and enjoy agriculture, science, and the natural environment.
Educational programs at Auerfarm combine direct experience with agriculture and nature through hands-on experiences, observation, and reflection. Programs focus on nature, biology, horticulture and math, addressing content standards. Programs are aligned with Connecticut State Department of Education Curriculum Frameworks for students Pre-K-high school, and Next Generation Science standards.
"Thank you for another wonderful visit to the Farm to see the Maple Trees. The children could not stop talking about their day on the way back to Hartford. We really appreciate all the work you do for us. Your staff were a joy to work with and were super helpful. Please email me at anytime to coordinate the next visit! We are eager to return!
All the best, E. Vazquez"
