Enrichment programs are designed to challenge and engage children in an outdoor setting. The gardens, barns, trails, and play forest are used as the primary classroom space for learning STEAM-based activities. A farm-based educator works with small groups to create a Social Emotional Learning experience for preschool and school-aged learners. We currently are only offering our Wednesday after-school enrichment program. K-5

Learn how to identify useful and edible native and medicinal plants growing in your local environment, as well as how to incorporate them into your daily lifestyle. Participants will learn the basic principles of foraging and go on a foraging walk to identify plants in a natural environment.

Kid’s Cooking Classes at Auerfarm
Tuesdays & Thursdays in May
5:30 – 6:30 PM

Come join us for our kids’ cooking classes at Auerfarm! Your little ones will have a blast learning how to cook and bake delicious treats in person. Auerfarm’s resident Chef Kristiann will guide them through fun and educational cooking activities. Every class will talk about kitchen safety, food preparation, and clean-up before learning how to create a delicious dish! It’s a great opportunity for kids to get hands-on in the kitchen and develop some new skills. Don’t miss out on this exciting culinary experience!
