The 4-H Education Center at Auer Farm is a unique agricultural and learning resource in the Hartford metropolitan area. Located in Bloomfield, Connecticut, just moments from the center of Hartford, this 120-acre farm’s is a beautiful setting for a wealth of opportunities for children and adults who come to learn about science and agriculture and to enjoy its open space and spectacular views.
This active farm includes apple orchards, raspberries, blueberries, corn, hay and more than 15 buildings. It is the home to outstanding educational programs for more than 17,000 children each year using curricula coordinated with the Connecticut state science framework. The farm animals, corn maze, hayrides, and wide variety seasonal programs make this a fun and interesting destination the the entire family.
