Yoga on Cider Hill - August 25th, 1-2 PM

Come enjoy yoga on the farm.  Walk or take a tractor ride up to the top of the hill and practice yoga with an inspiring view overlooking the Hartford valley.  This class is a flowing yoga practice to move energy throughout your body and deepen your breath allowing a state of relaxation and peace.   Class starts with centering and breath work to help bring the mind to rest and prepare the body for yoga postures.  We will stretch and then move into a light flow practice to open the body.  After flowing, there will be a Yin relaxation sequence to find the physical stillness, which allows the body and mind to soften.   All levels and bodies are welcome. No previous experience or flexibility required!  Come as you are!

Family Yoga & Eat the Rainbow - September 29th, 1:00-3:00 PM

Family Yoga and Eat the Rainbow is a fun workshop for all to promote peace, wellness and community. Easy yoga poses and meditation for all ages and bodies will be explored. Families will investigate a colorful array of fruits and vegetables and sample some tasty rainbow foods. Participants also learn tips and techniques they can adopt at home to improve their family's health and well being.
