ABOUT AUER FARM

AUER FARM FACILITIES

Today's 4-H Education Center at Auer Farm comprises 120 acres located in Bloomfield, Connecticut.

A mix of meadow, pasture, orchard, field, and woodland offers an ideal backdrop for teaching young people about the science of nature and the role of nature in their lives.

Currently, there are two classrooms, a combination science/computer laboratory, a combination reception/office, a kitchen and recently updated restrooms. Access throughout the farm, to the classrooms, animal barns, new pavilion and cottages is over a rough, unpaved farm road. Parking is in the fields.
